How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see the best results after 6 to 8 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles, so multiple treatments ensure we catch each follicle at the optimal time for removal. Your provider will recommend a personalized plan based on your skin tone, hair color, and area of treatment.
What are the common side effects?
Laser hair removal is generally well-tolerated, with most clients experiencing only mild redness or warmth in the treated area—similar to a slight sunburn. These effects typically subside within a few hours. With proper aftercare and professional guidance, side effects are minimal and temporary.
-Avoid heat for 24 hours — This includes hot showers, saunas, intense workouts, or anything that causes excessive sweating. Your skin needs time to calm and breathe.
-Stay out of the sun — Your skin will be more sensitive to UV rays, so it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 1–2 weeks. Always wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher on treated areas.
-Skip exfoliation and active ingredients — Hold off on scrubs, retinoids, or acids for a few days. Let your skin recover gently.
-Hydrate and soothe — Use a calming, fragrance-free moisturizer like aloe vera or a gentle lotion to keep your skin soft and hydrated.
-Don’t pluck or wax — Let the hair naturally shed over the next 1–2 weeks. You can shave between treatments if needed.
